Africa: Alarming Rise of Christian Persecution

  • "In some regions, the level and nature of persecution is arguably coming close to meeting the international definition of genocide, according to that adopted by the UN." — The Independent Review of FCO support for Persecuted Christians.
  • "The assailants asked the Christians to convert to Islam, but the pastor and the others refused. They ordered them to gather under a tree and took their Bibles and mobile phones. Then they called them, one after the other, behind the church building where they shot them dead." — World Watch Monitor, May 2, 2019.
  • As the British report demonstrates, persecution against Christians and other non-Muslims is not about the ethnicity, race or skin color of either the perpetrators or the victims; it is about their religion.
  • If these crimes are not stopped, it is highly likely that the fate of the African Continent will be like that of the Middle East: Once it was a majority-Christian region; now, Christians are a tiny, dying, defenseless minority.
According to Lindy Lowry, writing for Open Doors, "In the Democratic Republic of the Congo's eastern province of North Kivu, leaders of the church have been targeted and killed. Reportedly, at least 15 armed extremist groups were known to be operating in the area." According to a recent interim report published in the U.K., "it is estimated that one third of the world's population suffers from religious persecution in some form, with Christians being the most persecuted group."
Although the full report -- commissioned by British Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt and conducted by the Bishop of Truro, the Right Reverend Philip Mounstephen -- was due to be released by Easter this year, "the scale and nature of the phenomenon [of Christian persecution] simply required more time," according to the report. As a result, Mounstephen explained, the "interim" findings released in April are incomplete, and the final report will be published at the end of June.
According to the "overview" section of the interim "Independent Review of FCO support for Persecuted Christians":

Will Iran's Attacks on the US and Allies Escalate?

  • Iran's actions are clear; there has been virtually no attempt on its part to disguise hostile intentions. Why is there no international outrage? The mainstream media continue to fail to report adequately Iran's attacks. There has been no focus placed on the increase over the past two months of these attacks.
  • On several occasions, the Trump administration invited Iran to the negotiating table in an attempt to deescalate tensions. It is Iran that rejects the talks and continues to act aggressively, all while openly threatening the U.S. and its allies.
  • How many people must be threatened, tortured, or slaughtered, before Trump's response will be deemed warranted?
On June 13, 2019, U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo blamed Iran for the attack on two oil tankers in the Gulf of Oman, saying, "This assessment is based on intelligence, the weapons used, the level of expertise needed to execute the operation, recent similar Iranian attacks on shipping and the fact that no proxy group operating in the area has the resources and proficiency to act with such a high degree of sophistication." (Photo by Win McNamee/Getty Images)
Criticism continues to fly at the Trump administration in response to the White House's attempts to deter Iran's threats. Despite increasing acts of violence, and aggressive behavior towards the US, President Trump is criticized by some people for his determination to hold the Iranian government accountable.
By using its military to attack the US and its allies, the Islamic Republic has been unabashedly resorting to hard power tactics. Iran's actions are clear; there has been virtually no attempt on its part to disguise hostile intentions. Why is there no international outrage? The mainstream media continue to fail to report adequately Iran's attacks. There has been no focus placed on the increase over the past two months of these attacks.

Kenai Peninsula Borough In Southern Alaska Opens Government Meeting With Invocation Prayer Of ‘Hail Satan’ Delivered By Satanic Temple Worker

by Geoffrey Grider

Alaska Government meeting opens with 'Hail Satan' prayer

A Satanic Temple member who won the right to open a regional Alaska government meeting declared 'Hail Satan' during her first invocation, prompting about a dozen officials and attendees to walk out.

The members of the Satanic Temple want you to know that modern-day satanism has nothing to do with the Devil or Satan, and is really a fight for social justice and equality in America. They repeat this manta endlessly in the hopes you will believe it, but like every other thing of the Devil, it's a lie. So why are we suddenly seeing the rise of open satanism now? There's a very good and biblical reason behind it. We are entering the last days warned of in scripture.
"Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not." John 8:43-45 (KJV)
Actor Christian Bale wins the Golden Globes for 'best actor', and who does he thank?Satan. All Mormons and Freemasons worship Lucifer as the 'light bearer of the world'. Even supposedly conservative Fox is happy to bring your programming extolling the virtues of the Devil. Last week we showed you how hard Hollywood is working to normalize satanism, and last month we showed you Madonna at Eurovision 2019 dressed up and performing as Antichrist.
"And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light." Romans 13:11,12 (KJV)
People wake up, prophecy is literally leaping off the page and we who are saved are getting ready to get UP and OUT of here in the Pretribulation Rapture of the Church. That one event will trigger the literal start of the end times, or last days, spoken of by our apostle Paul, our Saviour Jesus Christ, and even by the patriarch Jacob way back in Genesis 49. Satanism and spiritual darkness of all kinds is on its unstoppable rise, but here's something you can do in the meantime. Get you some gospel tracts, go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in before it's everlasting too late.

Alaska Government Meeting Opens With 'Hail Satan' Prayer

FROM WASHINGTON TIMES: Tuesday’s invocation that started the meeting of the Kenai Peninsula Borough also spurred a protest outside the southern Alaska borough’s administration building that drew 40 people, The Peninsula Clarion newspaper reported .
Protesters held signs saying “reject Satan and his works” and “know Jesus and his love.”
During her invocation, Satanic Temple member Iris Fontana said, “That which will not bend, must break, and that which can be destroyed by truth should never be spared as demise. It is done, hail Satan,” Kenai radio station KSRM reported .
She was among the plaintiffs in the lawsuit litigated by the ACLU of Alaska against the borough after it approved a 2016 policy saying that people who wanted to give the invocations at the government body’s meetings had to belong to official organizations with an established presence on the Kenai Peninsula, which lies 75 miles (121 kilometers) south of Anchorage. Other plaintiffs who had been denied permission to give the invocations included an atheist and a Jewish woman.
The Alaska Supreme Court last October ruled that the borough policy was unconstitutional and the borough government changed it in November to allow anyone to offer invocations regardless of religion.
Assembly members Norm Blakeley and Paul Fischer and borough Mayor Charlie Pierce were among those who left the assembly chambers along with some audience members. Assembly members are not required to attend the invocation to participate in meetings.
The protesters included William Siebenmorgen, who flew to Alaska from Pennsylvania for the event.“God will be pleased with our public prayers of reparation. We want God’s blessings on America, not Satan’s curses. Lucifer is the eternal loser. Let’s keep him out,” he told KSRMREAD MORE

Palestinian 'Moderates:' Rifles, Hand Grenades and Terrorism

  • How does Abbas explain his opposition to the use of weapons and terrorism against Israel while his own faction displays rifles and a hand grenade and a map where Israel is completely ignored?
  • Fatah is, in other words, calling for a new Intifada [uprising] against Israel because the US is seeking ways to help the Palestinians. This is nothing less than loony.
  • In several interviews over the past few years, Zakariya Zubeidi made it clear that he never had any intention of renouncing terrorism. In one interview, he said that the Palestinian "resistance" could coexist alongside negotiating with Israel.... Recently, Zubeidi told an Israeli TV correspondent that he "misses the intifada and the revolution."
  • By its very own words and actions, Fatah makes it plainly clear that it is anything but moderate and pragmatic. This is the same faction that is supposed to be Israel's peace partner and whose leaders are welcomed around the world as advocates of peace and coexistence. If this is moderation, one wonders: how do Palestinians define extremism? The international community might check Fatah's communications in Arabic before answering that question for themselves.
Earlier this year, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas' ruling Fatah faction expressed outrage because Israel arrested Zakariya Zubeidi, one of its senior terrorists, for carrying out shooting attacks against Israelis between 2016 and 2019. Zubeidi was a leader of Fatah's Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades terrorist group during the Second Intifada (2000-2005). In 2007, Zubeidi was pardoned by Israel as part of a deal signed with the PA, in which he and other terrorists signed a pledge to refrain from terror activities. The Palestinian ruling Fatah faction, headed by Palestinian Authority President and PLO chief Mahmoud Abbas, is often described as a "moderate" and "pragmatic" group. There are many reasons and sufficient evidence to believe, however, that this assumption is unrealistic, if not totally false.
Before examining the rhetoric and actions of Fatah, one might do well to consider the group's emblem, which depicts two fists holding rifles, and a hand grenade in the middle. In the background is a map of Israel (with no mention of Israel); the emblem is accompanied by a caption reading: "Revolution until victory."
Why any group that proudly uses rifles and a hand grenade as its symbol is described as "moderate" and "pragmatic" remains a mystery. Could it be because it is an anti-Israel group that calls itself the Palestinian National Liberation Movement and was established with the declared goal of "liberating Palestine" -- specifically meaning, destroying Israel?
