After Over 200 Airstrikes On Iran In Syria, Israel Working Full Time To Prevent Production Of Precision Guided Missiles In Region

by Geoffrey Grider

The Israeli army has carried out more than 200 air-strikes against Iranian targets in Syria and fired over 800 missiles and mortar shells over the past year and a half, the IDF has revealed

Syria is mentioned 75 times in the King James Bible, Damascus mentioned 60 times, and we read about both figuring heavily in both the history of Israel and in prophecy related to Israel in the end times. Damascus is where Saul met Jesus on the road, and it is also the place where he received doctrinal revelation that he was instructed to teach the other apostles with regarding the newly-forming Church Age.
"I will break also the bar of Damascus, and cut off the inhabitant from the plain of Aven, and him that holdeth the sceptre from the house of Eden: and the people of Syria shall go into captivity unto Kir, saith the LORD." Amos 1:5 (KJV)
In our day, Syria weighs heavily on neighboring Israel as Iran wages war on them by proxy and continues building up missile silos with which to threaten Israel. One shudders to think of where Israel might be now if they didn't have a leader such as Netanyahu who is relentless when it comes to keeping Israel safe. Truly he is God's man for this time, just as Donald Trump is in America.
FROM THE JERUSALEM POST: The strikes were meant to prevent Iranian entrenchment in Syria, and led to the Islamic Republic evacuating several bases in Syria, according to the IDF. The campaign also interrupted Iran’s arms smuggling. Notwithstanding the accuracy of the strikes, Iran is continuing its military buildup in the region, including transferring ballistic missiles across its border into Iraq. Reuters reported over the weekend that Iran transferred the missiles to Shi’ite proxies in Iraq over the course of several months, and that it is building missile manufacturing facilities in Iraq and Syria, and training militias to operate the weapons. READ MORE
FROM THE TIMES OF ISRAEL: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the weekly cabinet meeting reiterates that Israel is determined to stop Iranian military entrenchment in Syria, and says it is working to thwart the production of precision missiles in the region “both near and far.”
“Israel is determined to prevent Iran and its satellites from establishing military bases in Syria,” Netanyahu tells ministers at the start of the weekly cabinet meeting.
“We are acting firmly against these efforts, as well as efforts to to produce precision weapons in all arenas, both near and far. This is how we will continue to act in the interest of Israel’s security,” he says. READ MORE
