The leader of the Russian Orthodox Church has said that humans’ dependence on modern technology will result in the coming of the Antichrist.
The head of the Russian Orthodox church gets pretty close to understanding the truth about our mind-boggling increasing of technological knowledge as it relates to the end times,
mark of the beast and the
coming Antichrist. But let's sharpen the tip on that pencil, shall we?
"And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name." Revelation 13:16,17 (KJV)
The Mark of the Beast, whatever form it finally takes, will indeed control all buying and selling around the world. So we know that it will interact across the board with
everything connected to the Internet, at least in the beginning. Seeing
right now how people have become
enslaved to their devices, conduct all business through them, and indeed live virtually through smartphone and tablets lets you know the vast majority of the population will not only take the Mark, they will welcome it joyously!
"And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration. And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns." Revelation 17:5-7 (KJV)
When Jesus opens the First Seal and releases Antichrist, he will arrive on the scene, and with the power of the Roman Catholic church behind him, will rule all the world, albeit for a short period of time. The Vatican, the Holy See specifically, is the harlot that will ride the beast that is Antichrist.
"And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer." Revelation 6:1,2 (KJV)
Lastly, Patriarch Kirill of the Russian church says that if we stop using our devices we can prevent Antichrist from coming on the scene. That is where he is 100% wrong. Nothing will prevent the arrival of Antichrist, so don't waste one second of your time praying against it. For it is Jesus Himself who will take the '7 sealed book", open the First Seal, and release Antichrist. But no need to worry. If you are saved, Jesus will take you out in the
Pretribulation Rapture of the Church before the start of the

Russian Patriarch Warns ‘Antichrist’ Will Control Humans Through Gadgets
FROM THE MOSCOW TIMES: In an interview with Russian state media, Patriarch Kirill explained he does not entirely oppose gadgets, but warned against “falling into slavery” to smartphones.
Patriarch Kirill said that the collection of user data including “location, interests and fears” will make it possible for humans to be controlled by external forces. “Control from a single point is a harbinger of the coming of the Antichrist,” Kirill
told the state-run Rossia-1 TV network on Orthodox Christmas Monday.
“The Antichrist is a personality that will be at the head of the world wide web controlling the entire human race. Thus, the structure itself presents a danger,” he said.
The church leader stressed that “if we don’t want to bring the apocalypse closer, there should be no single [control and access] center.”
