For some of you today who are 'trusting the plan', this will be a hard message to hear, a 'bitter pill' to swallow, but it is a message that is exactly what's needed if you love and cherish biblical truth.
This morning as I write this, I look out across the end times landscape and see how many born again, saved Christians are confused and struggling with what is actually happening all around them. I see pastors, unable to instruct their congregations, because they have taken their eyes off of prophecy and put them on politics, and I see Christians trusting more in the deceitful words of men than in the King James Holy Bible.
"And judgment is turned away backward, and justice standeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter. Yea, truth faileth; and he that departeth from evil maketh himself a prey: and the LORD saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment." Isaiah 59:14,15 (KJB)
In last week's message, I called born again Christians to the spiritual front before us on the front lines of the end times, but sadly here we are a week later, and I see Christians falling by the wayside and 'trusting the plan' more than trusting the preserved and revealed words of the Lord. At the end of his ministry, our apostle Paul told Timothy that he had 'fought a good fight', and that fight was against the world, the flesh and the Devil. That's where the battle is. But we cannot fight the 'good fight' if we don't even know what the good fight is. This morning I would like to preach a message on knowing and identifying biblical truth to enable us fight the actual fight that God would have us to fight, and not the fights created by man for the glorification of man. For some of you today, this will be a hard message to hear, a 'bitter pill' to swallow, but a message that is exactly what's needed if you love and cherish biblical truth.
