You were born in the image of Adam, and that path leads you straight to death and misery. Jesus Christ is the last Adam, and when you are born again in His image, you will have everlasting life, joy and peace.
Adam was created as the first man, and place in the garden and given dominion over it, to rule and reign and replenish the earth. But in relatively short order, Adam lost his kinghood and was expelled from the garden, never to return. Since that time, this world has been in an ongoing state of war, a war that will determine who gets to be the King over the earth.
"For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit." 1 Corinthians 15:22,45 (KJB)
We are one week away from our celebration of the day when Jesus Christ, whom the Bible calls the "last Adam", rose from the dead according to the scriptures. And as we approach that time, we would do well to remember that the Bible is all about the coming King and the coming Kingdom. The reason why you must be born again is because your first birth is no good, you were born in the image of Adam. That is the path that leads to eternal death and misery. Jesus, the last Adam, gives you the new birth in His image, and in the coming days when His Kingdom shall be established, you will rule and reign with Him as kings and priests. All of this leads you straight to the Pretribulation Rapture of the Church.
