Come with us as we journey back in time to meet the apostle Paul face to face, and learn a little bit about the greatest Christian that ever lived.
I understand that the headline of this article is making a lot of hyper-dispensational fundamentalists and Roman Catholics really mad right now, well, buckle up buttercup, the water's about to get a little deep. I will grant you that when the Lord Jesus Christ decided to make Saul, the arch-enemy of the early Church, it's leader that a whole lot of feathers were "ruffled" in the process. Tonight's bible study will only serve to augment said ruffling, and perhaps, Lord willing, add some fuel to the fire.
"And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest. But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee; Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send thee, To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me. Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision:" Acts 26:15-19 (KJB)
On this episode of Rightly Dividing, we are looking at the apostle Paul, majority author on the New Testament, and a controversial figure for the past 2,000 years to everyone who fails to rightly divide the bible and apply dispensational truth. To those of us who do, Paul is not controversial in the least, we clearly see his commission, understand why he "took over" for Peter, and why we are commanded to follow him. Paul shows us 7 Mysteries that no other apostle ever had before Paul showed it to them. Paul is the apostle to the Church Age, Paul is the one who will present the Body to Jesus as a Bride on her wedding day, Paul has a position given to no other apostle or prophet in either Testament. Come with us as we journey back in time to meet the apostle Paul face to face, and learn a little bit about the greatest Christian that ever lived.
