Matthew 24 is one of the most-quoted books in the Bible that people use when discussing the time of Jacob's trouble and the Great Tribulation, and no, those two events are not the same thing. In Matthew 24, we have Jesus speaking directly to His Jewish disciples, and He is going into great and graphic detail of what the Jews can expect during this time period.
