I have long likened the fulfillment of bible prophecy to observing smog that hangs over a major, industrialized city. From a distance, the smog is very visible and can be recognized instantly. But a funny thing happens the closer you get to it, the smog grows fainter and fainter and by the time you are in the middle of it, you can hardly see it at all. It is very much the same way with bible prophecy, many things have been fulfilled over the past 30 years and yet, most people including Christians remain unaware of it, or knew but have already forgotten these events took place.
