Rightly dividing clearly shows that the Church was never Israel, and Israel will never be the Church. Things that are different are not the same.
Many times I hear from people who are confused about the relationship of the born again Church, which is the Body of Christ, and national Israel that represents God's eternal covenant with His chosen people, the Jews. I hear from Christians who believe that, when they got saved, they were grafted into Israel, and are really 'spiritual Jews'. It is within this seeming quandary that rightly dividing comes to the rescue!
"For the earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof. Give none offence, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God:" 1 Corinthians 10:26,32 (KJB)
On this episode of Rightly Dividing, we are properly aligning the born again Church, made up of Jews and Gentiles, with God promise to redeem national Israel and give them the Kingdom of Heaven promised to them all through the Old Testament, as well as in the gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke. Replacement Theology, the heretical idea that Christians and the Church replace the Jews and Israel, comes from wrongly dividing the scriptures, bringing you to an unbiblical conclusion. Rightly dividing clearly shows that the Church was never Israel, and Israel will never be the Church. Things that are different are not the same, and on this edition of Rightly Dividing, we show you the God-ordained differences between the two.
