We who are saved and know the Lord are called to labour for the Lord while it is day, to seek the salvation of lost people, to edify the Church, and pray for the redemption of the Jew.
The born again Church, which is the Body of Christ, and the Jews and Israel are heading for the exact same destination on paths that never cross, and wind up in the exact same place but for a different reason and purpose. Paul shows us, the Church, that lower-case "t" tribulations and persecutions are part of the price that has to be paid to be counted worthy of the kingdom of God. Isaiah shows is that the Jews and Israel must also be persecuted and what their restoration will look like.
"So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure: Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer: Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you; And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:" 2 Thessalonians 1:4-8 (KJB)
Do you know that God is going to recompense you in the end for everything you did for His sake and for the gospel of the Kingdom of God? It's true! God sees it all, and in the end will reward your enemies according to their deeds, and He does the exact same thing for the Jews and Israel. Our primary purpose down here on the earth is not to get married, raise kids, build houses and create 401K retirement accounts. We who are saved and know the Lord are called to labour for the Lord while it is day, to seek the salvation of lost people, to edify the Church, and pray for the redemption of the Jew. This life is not the main event, this life is preparation for eternity, and today I'd like to bring you an encouraging message on how you can prepare for what's coming.
