CHRISTINE DARG ON THE FEAST OF TRUMPETS

Christine DargFollow
Rosh Hashanah (the civil Jewish New Year) is upcoming September 30 - October 1, 2019. This is the Day of the Festal Shout known in Judaism as "Yom Teruah" and the Feast of Trumpets. It's also known as the "day or hour that nobody knows" due to the fact that the holiday cannot be celebrated until the new moon of the Hebrew month of Tishrei is sighted. In 2015, the new moon could not be sighted due to a regional dust storm, driving home the fact that the day or hour could not be determined. Thus it is usually a two-day date projection. "But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren. . . . For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a #shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the #trump of God: and the dead in Messiah shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words." (1 Thessalonians 4: 13-18) #Maranatha! Watching, waiting and one day-- these verses will be fulfilled!
