It is here on this playing field that the Laodicean 'scholars' do their worst work, muddying the intellectual waters with awkward sounding and hard to pronounce terms that, as Shakespeare would say, are 'Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, Signifying nothing."
It is a fact that God wrote the Bible dispensationally, and Paul's command in 2 Timothy to 'rightly divide' clearly helps us to see that. 8 glasses a day of water is good for you, but 18 glasses may not be so good, in fact, too much water at one time can be dangerous. Dispensationalism is biblical, but hyper-dispensationalism is not.
"Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God; Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:" Colossians 1:25-27 (KJB)
On this episode of Rightly Dividing, we are looking at something called hyper-dispensationalism, which is not biblical, and comparing it to the God-ordained method of interpretation known as dispensationalism. It is here on this playing field that the Laodicean 'scholars' do their worst work, muddying the intellectual waters with awkward sounding and hard to pronounce terms that, as Shakespeare would say, are 'Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, Signifying nothing." Hyper-dispensationalism is definitely a counterfeit and on this edition of Rightly Dividing, we will compare it to the 'real deal' to discern the difference.
