The book of Job, aside from being the first, complete book in human history, is a end times storehouse of prophetical information. The book of Job has 42 chapters, Revelation is quite careful to tell you the Great Tribulation lasts for 42 months. Not only that, Job lives in the land of Uz, which today we call Selah Petra in Jordan. The exact same place the Jewish remnant will flee for protection in the time of Jacob's trouble. Yes sir, if you want more up-to-date prophetical information than would take ten lifetimes to mine the depths of, the book of Job is where you go.
"And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought? And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD." Job 1:8,9,12 (KJB)
