I was talking with a friend recently, on the subject of Church unity and schisms in the body of Christ, and it got me thinking about the tremendous changes that have taken place over the last 10 years within the Christian Church that Jesus started and the Roman Catholic counterfeit. In an amazing 'coincidence' I found myself in verses 20 and 21 of John 17, certainly very pertinent to us living here at the end of the Church Age.
"Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me." John 1720,21 (KJB)
"That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another. And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it." 1 Corinthians 12:25,26 (KJB)
