As Bible believers, we understand that Paul is our apostle, and that what the Holy Spirit wrote through him is our doctrine, but it is essential that we understand that doctrine in the light of the whole Bible.
Lately, it seems that a lot of people are confused about the gospel of the grace of God and its saving power in the Church Age. There are those that think someone can only be saved after reading certain and specific verses found in the writings of the apostle Paul, like 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 for example. Those verses certainly tell us what the gospel for the Church Age is, no doubt, but how about other verses like John 3:16, the one that I got saved on? Hmm.
"Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:" 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 (KJB)
